Hull Connect is a boat marketplace operated by Hull Connect Marine. You can reach us at hullconnectmarine@gmail.com about anything on this page.

When you contact a seller. Your name, email, phone number if you give it, your message and the boat you asked about, and where your visit came from (see Page counts). We use it to pass your inquiry to the seller and to follow up on it.

When you ask to sell or trade your boat. Your name, email, phone number if you give it and how you would like to be reached, your boat’s details and photos, what you want next, and where your visit came from. We use them to connect you with dealerships on Hull Connect that may want to buy your boat, take it in trade or help you find your next one, and we share your boat and your contact details with the dealerships we pass it to. We never publish them.

When you list your boat. Your name, email and phone number, the details of your boat and its photos. We use them to review the boat, build the listing, market it and put you in touch with buyers. The boat’s details and photos are shown publicly; your contact details are not.

When a dealership gets in touch. The name, email, phone number and dealership you give us, and anything you write. We use it to reply and to set up your listings.

When you create an account. Your email address and the boats you save, so they are waiting for you on any device.

When you sign up for emails. Your email address and the emails you asked for. Every email carries a link to stop them.

Page counts. We count how often pages and boats are opened, and note in general terms where a visit came from, such as Instagram or a search engine. These are dates and numbers. We do not record IP addresses or device or browser details, and a count is never tied to a person. If you send an inquiry or a Find My Boat request, where that visit came from, such as an ad, a search engine or a link, is kept with it, and the dealer whose boat you asked about sees which of those it was.

We use no advertising cookies, no analytics services, and no third-party trackers. Nothing on this site follows you anywhere else.

A few pieces of ordinary browser storage make the site work: your sign-in session if you have an account, the boats you have saved, a short marker that stops a page refresh being counted as a second visit, and a note of where your visit came from, used for up to 30 days. That note reaches us only with an inquiry or request you send; the rest never leaves your browser.

When you contact a seller, that seller receives your inquiry: the dealership, or the private owner of the boat. Beyond that, we keep the number of companies involved deliberately small. Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage), the site is served through Cloudflare, and email is sent through Resend. Each of them processes data only to provide that service to us.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Inquiries are kept while they are useful to the buyer and seller, and removed on request. A private seller’s listing and details are kept while the boat is listed and for as long as we need them to settle the fee after a sale. Accounts and email sign-ups are kept until you close the account or unsubscribe.

If a dealership sent you a link to follow your boat while it is in for service, the dealership controls that information and we hold it on their behalf. Ask the dealership to change or remove it, and we will act on their instruction. Every email about it carries a link to stop them.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will do it.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws such as the UK and EU GDPR or the CCPA. We will honour them.

Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us. Only Hull Connect staff can see inquiries and seller submissions.

No system is perfect. If you believe something is wrong, tell us and we will look at it the same day.

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top, and tell sellers and dealerships with a listing directly.
